Menkheperra papyrus – GEM 20058
mn-xpr-ra
Ranke I, pg. 150, 14
Also known as Menkheperre
Provenance Deir el-Bahri
Third prophet of Amen
NB. Because the GEM has assigned new inventory numbers and there is currently no database that allows me to trace the original ones, I have no idea which original catalogue number this papyrus corresponds to. The museum states that it concerns a Third Prophet of Amen (like Menkheperre B from Bab el‑Gasus), but I cannot find any indication of that on the papyrus itself. I assume that this papyrus must have belonged to a different owner than Menkheperre B, since he already possessed a complete Amduat papyrus
