The foreign name Pakaru means ‘The Syrian’ (Ranke), “The Palestinian” (Aubert/Zarli) , he was also named Ahanéferamon, the brave fighter of Amun (Aubert). The name Pakharu is used on his shabtis and Book of the Dead. Both names can be found on the shabti boxes and Amduat papyrus
